About « Governance Analytics »

Since October 2016, “Governance Analytics” has brought together researchers in Computer Science, Economics, Management, Political Science and Sociology who work on the analysis of governance issues of our complex and ever-changing societies. It aims to build a “data factory” to acquire and process data for collective decision-making mechanisms, institutional dynamics, and the functioning of markets and organisations.

A team of post-doctoral researchers and engineers will support the research teams of Paris Sciences & Lettres (PSL) members to strengthen their ability in designing research protocols, data collection and processing, regardless whether they are massive (Big Data), poorly structured, dispersed (e.g. archives), or weak signals. The team’s ambition is to enlarge the impact of the PSL research both on the scientific level and in the public debate by using new corpus of data and advanced methodologies of analysis.
